How to wipe compact discs (CD, DVD)

Unfortunately scratchs appear on surface of compact discs. To avoid it, keep disks in special boxes or covers. Also try to not touch the top and bottom parties of a disk with fingers, hold it only on each side or through the central opening.

The dust is the reason of fine scratchs. If you have seen the dust on a compact disc, it needs to be wiped by a soft fabric on a direction from the centre to edges of a disk. At all do not wipe compact discs on a circle because at any contact with surface of disk microscratchs appear, and it will be impossible to write down or to read probability that the data on disk, above, if the scratchs on a circle, and lower, if they radial.
