How to keep flowers

Some useful advice how to keep flowers fresh:

before puting flowers in water, it is necessary to make some longitudinal cuts of length 2-5 centimetres at the end of a stalk. Make these cuts under water. You can cut a stalk under the current water. For long preservation of flowers it is necessary to cut a stalk each day on 0,5 - 1 centimetres.
direct solar light should not fall on flowers and there should not be drafts;
many flowers love daily changing of water;
for an additional food-stuff for flowers it is possible to put a tea spoon of sugar or half-tablets of aspirin in water. Update them at each changing of water;
to keep flowers fresh, it is prohibited to place in one vase or even to put beside different kinds of flowers. To exceptions it is possible to attribute plants from one bouquet;
it is prohibited to keep cut off flowers near with fruit, room plants;
