How to stop bleeding

At heavy wounds main is to stop a bleeding and to protect a wound from pollution and subsequent infection. If the wound is extensive or with crisis, it is necessary to fix finiteness, using the trunk or that under a hand: a board, stick...

Small bleeding can be stopped by pressing: put on a wound a gauze napkin and fix by several coils of bandage. After that it is necessary to raise finiteness.

At an extensive bleeding it is necessary to apply plait. It is necessary to break off clothes, having naked finiteness, to raise it, to bend in a joint. Apply plait above wounds, on a lining. Plait should be seen, it cannot be closed by clothes. It is necessary to write down time of application of plait. Plait is applied in winter no more than on half an hour, in summer - at 1 hour. At a wound of forearm or shin plait is put on a shoulder or hip. If there is not present plait, piece of a strong matter, a cord, a belt can replace it. The coils of plait should densely adjoin to each other.

If after application of plait skin gets a dark blue shade or its sensitivity disappears, quickly remove and apply again.
